Downtown—(January 9, 2024) It's almost time once again for the 22nd annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival, returning this week. Organized by Destination Vancouver, we were invited to preview a few restaurants to sample their three-course, fixed-price (between $20-65) set dinner menus, including the Michelin Guide-recommended Acquafarina Italian fine-dining restaurant.

West 4th—(January 28, 2021) The nineteenth annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival is back—a tad later than usual in the new year—with its trademark selection of set menus available across town. Courtesy of Tourism Vancouver, we were treated to a preview at the Thai restaurant stalwart Maenam to sample their three-course prix fixe dinner.

FEAST | Dine Out 2019 x Coquille Fine Seafood x Gastown

Gastown—(January 10, 2019) After the new year, we are now fully ready and in the mode of the sixteenth annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival with its many set menu options. Last week, on the first-stop of our Tourism Vancouver restaurant tour, we were treated to the still-newish downtown shellfish eatery Coquille Fine Seafood to sample their various three-course prix fixe dinner ($45) items.

Last week, we stopped by the year-old House Special Modern Vietnamese on the second stop of our Tourism Vancouver restaurant tour to sample their three-course $40 set menu paired with Church & State Wines.

Yaletown—(January 12, 2017) The fifteenth annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival is just around the corner with some of the 284 participating restaurants previewing their prix fixe menu items. On our Tourism Vancouver tour, we sampled La Pentola's three-course set meal (lunch $30 and dinner $40) inside the boutique Opus Hotel.

Dine Out continues to ramp up. As per usual, Glowbal previewed their set menus from restaurants along the Alberni corridor of eateries and steakhouses. We hopped around three joints to taste different courses. All the menus featured decent variety and choices, despite on the whole, being a little underwhelming. I usually enjoy Glowbal's different menu takes, but wasn't jazzed this time around. Below are a few notable dishes.

Vancouver's Dine Out promotion and their set menus across the city are back soon. Ahead of its launch, Campagnolo invited a few of us to preview their offerings. For starters, the minestrone soup (with parmeson brodo, root vegetables, and ham) was hearty and flavourful. I dug into its rich taste and substantial ingredients. Also, the crispy ceci (deep fried chickpeas tossed with mint, spinach, arugula, lemon, and chili flakes) was easy tasting for munching on.

Dine Out has once again teamed up with the Street Food Vancouver Society and the Downtown Vancouver BIA to bring back the popular Street Food City lunch festival, gathering a bunch of the city's best food trucks all in one place.

Dine Out is back and the Glowbal Collection is no exception. To start off the week, they assembled media and a team of food writers to tour what Glowbal had to offer. Beginning the evening, we dove into Coast Restaurant’s set menu offerings ($38).

Apparently, due to my first article on The Social Feed's delicious dinner at Nelson the Seagull, Dine Out approached them to do a special pop up dinner at Save on Meats butcher next door to its diner.
