After Coast, we tried the newly heralded Glowbal signature steakhouse for their Dine Out set menu menu offerings.

I was slightly disappointed by the blue ribbon strip loin roast as just subpar all around and not up to Black & Blue's usual standard and reputation.

However, their pan roasted salmon (with parsnip puree and root vegetable chips) was very good and quite delicious. The truffled potato leek soup was a rich, tasty liquid libation and a fine starter. I'd also recommend the devilishly delectable creamed corn with crispy jalapeƱos as a add on treat.

Our base was the blue ribbon cottage pie (with salted ground beef, peas, carrots, and baked parmesan mashed potatoes) serving as quite a decadent, rich meal. It was creamy and mighty filling. I quite enjoyed the menu at Black & Blue and would recommend the soup along with the cottage pie or salmon.

Last, we hit up Society Dining Lounge to sample a few dessert offerings from several Glowbal establishments. The trio of sticky toffee pudding, mini sugar donuts, and chocolate peanut butter rice crispy squares were very sweet and a nice capper.
