TEDxVancouver 2014 x Tilt x Queen Elizabeth Theatre

2014 TEDxVancouver: Tilt conference at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on October 18, 2014.

TEDxVancouver 2014: Tilt | Queen Elizabeth Theatre

After taking last year off and the arrival of the official TED2014 conference in town, the independently organized TEDxVancouver returned, bringing along its 2,500 attendees (mostly newcomers and first-timers) for a full day of stories and inspiration. This was my fourth straight TEDxVancouver and it was both familiar and new in its high ambition and broad appeal (despite being a little all over the place at times), hoping to "Tilt" themes and shift thinking about human innovation.

David Drucker, Rick Chung, Theresa Lalonde

I attended my first Northern Voice conference this past weekend. I remember last year, just starting out in the social media community, watching all the live tweets and thinking I needed to be there next year. And I was. In fact, I was even invited to speak on a panel on day 2.
