Hastings–Sunrise—(August 14 and 20, 2025) For its 115th year, the 2025 PNE Fair is still trying to make everyone happy. This past weekend, East Vancouver's annual late summer tradition on the Pacific National Exhibition's festival fairgrounds in Hastings Park opened up once again for two weeks of hot summer fun for the whole family.
There's a strong focus this year on Canadian products and vendors for obvious reasons, with an aim to satisfy anyone from the age of two to ninety-two with something for everybody. From fusion-style fast food to classic fair staples and local craft wines, the attraction remains firmly centred on variety and wide cultural appeal.

PNE showcased a special four-course tasting menu, pairing fair foods with Okanagan wines from Saintly Wines (sauvignon blanc, rosé, and sparkling) and Black Sage Vineyard (cabernet sauvignon), as an example of the endless combinations available to enjoy.
- Deep fried spiral pickle (with a corn tortilla crust and chipotle ranch dressing) from Diggity Dogs.
- Hamburger (with sweet onions, mustard, relish, cheese) from Jimmy's Lunch.
- Bulgogi chicken dog (with hoisin mayonnaise, kimchi and daikon slaw, gochujang sauce, and crispy rice) from Diggity Dogs.
- Cinnamon sugar mini doughnuts from Fundunkers.
