Yelp Goes Bollywood Burlesque Elite Event at Ginger62 nightclub on Granville Street on September 29, 2011.
I love how Yelp goes with some pretty out there themes and varieties for their monthly Elite parties.
From mexican fiesta to late night dinner party to a Bollywood burlesque show.
The event was also our goodbye to our wonderful Yelp-er friend Linzi (with Colene and I) from Ireland by way of England.
Kristie and I trekked over to Granville to check out the festivities.
Colene, Sophia, and Kristie all got beautiful henna hand art done.
The undoubted highlight of the night was the Shiamak Davar dance performance, wildly dazzling the nightclub with their moves and style.
It was a very satisfying, vibrant performance, mixing dance and culture with spectacle.
The detail and scale with which the night was organize was pretty remarkable.
