From Oceans to Cocktails x Yew Seafood + Bar x Four Seasons

From Uva bartender Lauren Mote (also of Bittered Sling) comes Yew's brand new Oceans cocktail collaboration inspired by each global body of water (split between the Atlantic, Indian, Pacific and Arctic/Southern) and paired with their seafood menu from Executive Chef Ned Bell.

At the launch, Mote showcased four of the sixteen unique yet familiar cocktails, each with their own twists, along with a different seafood dish.

1) The Skookum-Chuck Pacific Ocean cocktail (with Granville Island unfiltered Nigori sake, Fino Sherry, Aperol, lemon Kaffir lime leaf and lemongrass, Clingstone peach bitters) paired with scallop ceviche.

2) The Rock of Gibraltar Atlantic Ocean cocktail (with cinnamon and coriander infused Torres Spanish brandy, Grappa di Moscato, Amontillado Sherry, Cocchi Vermount di Torino, Ghorka tea, and Malagasy chocolate bitters) paired with lobster nachos.

3) The Dhow's Route Indian Ocean cocktail (with Flor de Caña 7-year-old rum, green and black cardamom cointreau , lime, pineapple, and Orgeat almond flower plum and root beer bitters) paired with deep fried spot prawns.

4) The Glacial Snout Atlantic Ocean cocktail (with Jameson Irish Whisky, Laphroaig Quarter Cask Islay Whiskey, Yellow Chartreuse, lemon, Irish moss, immature junipers, and cascade celery bitters) paired with Dungeness crab cakes.
