Yaletown—(July 26, 2016) Tacofino is opening up its latest west coast meets Mexican eatery, Tacofino Burrito Bar, located downtown on Mainland Street very soon. They gave media and guests a sneak peak at their new digs.
The new location serves up the same Southern California influenced cuisine with a renewed focused on—you guessed it—burritos including cauliflower, lemon grass chicken (my favourite), beef brisket barbacoa (above), crispy squid, and smoked tuna varieties.
The thirty-eight-seat dining room and twelve-seat patio features a more intimate space but still with a full bar, counter service and take-out window as it mashes up fast casual and relaxed dining together.
As for as the rest of the menu, it's mostly different and unique except for Tacofino's trademark fish tacos and best in town nachos platter.
Tacofino continues its expansion on the Pacific casual dining scene with its newest, hip Burrito Bar. It aims to open to the public for burrito consumption sometime this BC Day long weekend.
Update: Tacofino Yaletown is now officially open for business.
